It’s the first time in a week or so that I’m blogging “live” so to speak. As I’ve been in Canada, all my posts have been scheduled in advance so it’s nice to be back and sat at my laptop again with lots of kitty cuddles and drinking actual real tea (it is NEVER good in North America).
As it’s Sunday, I’m suffering with that horrible post-holiday limbo feeling knowing that work is just around the corner and I finally have to settle back into a routine. Yes I’m throwing myself a pity party at the fact I’ve been on holiday and had to come back. It’s the ultimate first world problem, I know! There’s far more pressing issues going on in the world like the fact that there’s a delusional maniac in charge of the most powerful country in the world, but I digress.
Vancouver was incredible and I am totally in love with the city. There will be a couple of posts going up over the next few weeks so stayed tuned for that although I didn’t get quite as many photos as I would have liked because it rained A LOT. If anything, it’s given me an incentive to go back as it’s meant to be even more beautiful in the summer.
We arrived back in the UK yesterday afternoon so sadly I couldn’t attend the Women’s march in London but I’ve loved seeing everyone’ photos from the day across the world. It makes me so proud and so inspired to see the women (and men) come together and fight for what we believe in.
Today is all about getting some blog photography done as I have been ridiculously disorganised and have nothing ready for the next couple of weeks. I hope everyone is having a great weekend!
